Dust control in the Mining industry has traditionally involved bringing in water trucks daily and endlessly spraying dust affected areas. This method is noticeably inefficient and wastes resources that could be used beneficially elsewhere.

Dust control in the Mining industry has traditionally involved bringing in water trucks daily and endlessly spraying dust affected areas. This method is noticeably inefficient and wastes resources that could be used beneficially elsewhere. Various Governments and regulatory agencies ihave begun monitoring the amount of water used by mining companies for this purpose, and until now, few alternatives existed to combat harmful dust particles.

Our dust control product-Levi Trap SP- is formulated to perfectly match the requirements of the mining industry. Like water, many dust control products will only work on areas that do not incur any measurable sort of traffic. This is so because they will either form a crust on top of the dust that will break after repeated passes by heavy machinery, or simply evaporate after a short period of time. Instead of forming a crust, LeviTrap SP will remain as a liquid until it “absorbs” itself into the soil, resulting in a damp material. By staying in a liquid form, the dust particles will lift into the air when an object passes over the area, but immediately return to the surface due to the weight given by the chemical bond.
